BioApp launched in 2021, though our full story extends further into the past. At Midwest Natural Resources (MNR), specialists have spent over 15 years conducting large-scale wetland delineations. MNR has used a variety of data collection tools and products, but found them clunky, difficult to use, and outdated. MNR developed several iterations of internal tooling for wetland delineation data collection, and this laid the foundation for the development and release of BioApp.

The MNR team uses BioApp during every field season. Through their ongoing work for clients and partners, as well as through feedback from customers located all across the United States, we continue to discover new ways that BioApp can be further improved.
